Cancellation and Refund Policy

For Island Hopping Tours

  1. If you decide to cancel your trip (private or shared) due to personal reasons such as but not limited to – injury, illness, or an emergency you must inform us at least 24 hours prior to the start of your trip either in person at our office located at Pops District, Corong Corong or by telephone on +63 995 662 5400. This will entitle you to a full refund. 

  2. If you inform us less than 24 hours ahead of your scheduled tour that you can no longer attend we will issue a refund totalling 50% of the cost of your booking. This covers the slot that was reserved for you and payments made for other incidentals.

  3. If you fail to inform us the total cost of the trip will be forfeited.

  4.  If you wish to reschedule your tour you must inform us at least 24 hours prior to the start of your tour to avoid incurring additional rebooking charges.
  5. Rebooking requests received less than 24 hours prior to the start of the trip will incur a 50% rebooking charge, this is to cover payments made for incidentals.
  6. If the Philippines Coast Guard cancels any of our water activities you have the option of a full refund or to rebook your activities for a later date at no additional charge. We Are Juan will not be held liable for any other weather related inconvenience.

For Expedition Tour

  1. A 5,000 PHP downpayment is required to secure your slot, the remaining balance must be paid before the start of the trip.
  2. If you wish to reschedule your booking you must inform us 48 hours ahead of your scheduled tour. If you notify us less than 48 hours before the start you will incur a 10% administration fee.
  3. If you wish to cancel your trip you must inform us 48 hours ahead of schedule to receive a full refund. If you notify us less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure you will be entitled to a full refund less your deposit. This is to cover payments made for incidentals.
  4. If the Philippine Coast Guard cancels any trips’ due to weather conditions you will be entitled to a full refund, or you may reschedule your trip to the next available day free of charge.
  5. You MUST attend the pre-departure briefing, this is mandatory. You will receive all relevant information regarding your trip. We will outline the rules and regulations for the duration of the trip, explain the itinerary and answer any questions you may have. This is to ensure the guest’s and our staff’s safety and wellbeing for the duration of the trip.
  6. Any cause for delay on the day of departure may result in your trip being cancelled or rescheduled.
  7. There is a dedicated area for luggage however due to the nature of the activity it cannot be guaranteed that everything will remain 100% dry. It is your responsibility to keep any items such as but not limited to – laptops, cell phones, passports’, any electrical items, or items you do not want to get wet or that can be damaged due to water in a secure dry bag. We will not be held liable for any damage caused due to failure to secure your items adequately before departure.
  8. We Are Juan will not be held liable for injury, accidents, damage and/or loss of property due to failing to follow the rules and regulations set out in the briefing.
  9. We Are Juan reserve the right to change the route without prior notice due to but not limited to – weather conditions.
  10. Rum and coke will be provided during the evenings – it is your sole responsibility to drink responsibly. We will not be held liable for any accident, injury, damage and/or loss of property due to intoxication of the guest.
